Local Rank Tracker Template (CSV Generator)

Pick your columns and download a ready CSV. Use it to track local keywords without complicated software.

What this tool does

If you’re tracking progress, you need a consistent sheet. This generator creates a CSV with clean headers and a few example rows. You can import it into Google Sheets, add monthly snapshots, and keep notes about changes you made (posts, photos, reviews).

How to use it

  1. Choose the columns you want (defaults are recommended).
  2. Click “Generate CSV” to download.
  3. Import into Google Sheets or Excel.
  4. Update it monthly—don’t obsess daily.

Example

Output columns: Keyword, Location, Target page, Current rank, Notes → imported into Sheets for monthly tracking.

Common mistakes

  • Checking rankings every day (noisy and stressful).
  • Mixing multiple cities/locations in one row without clarity.
  • Not recording what changes you made—notes matter.
