Guide
Internal linking for local SEO: a simple structure
A practical internal linking pattern that helps users and supports topical relevance—without doorway pages.
Use hubs that make sense
Avoid publishing dozens of thin pages. Instead, use a few strong hubs:
- /tools/ → all tools
- /articles/ → all guides
Link tools ↔ guides
Every tool should link to 2–6 guides that explain how to use it and why it matters. Every guide should link back to 1–3 relevant tools.
Use descriptive anchor text
Link like a human: “UTM Builder for GBP links” instead of “click here”.
